Mindstep have officially raised £200k for vital suicide prevention research at the University of Glasgow

The Mindstep Small Grants programme supported Tŷ Elis, a charity based in South Wales providing free counselling services, in establishing their Family Therapy Clinic.

We explain the IMV model which can help to further our understanding of why people die by suicide.

In an extraordinary effort to raise awareness and funds for mental health research, James Smith, as an Ambassador for the Mindstep Foundation, cycled over 2,300 Kilometres from his home in London to Perugia, Italy

Mindstep visited the research team at the University of Glasgow to hear about the latest developments and to view a plaque dedicated to Max and Mindstep’s support of the research.

On 26-28 April 2024, a team of 140 from around the world took part in the Mindstep Relay, raising over £10,000 for suicide prevention research.

Mindstep are proud to support the publication of ‘Depression – It’s really not all in the mind’, a report bringing together 5 years of research and innovation from YMPH Foundation.

The Mindstep Foundation are delighted to qualify another excellent group in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
