The Mindstep Podcast tackles mental health, suicide and grief through conversations with industry experts and those who are experts by experience.

Tracey and Georgia Davies, trustees of the Mindstep Foundation, draw from their own tragic loss of Max to suicide in 2018, to facilitate open discussions surrounding these topics and reduce stigma. Available to listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud.

Episode 1 Tracey and Georgia Davies

In Episode 1, Tracey Davies speaks openly about the loss of her 22-year old son, Max, following his depression. In this honest and personal conversation with daughter, Georgia, they provide an insight into their own experience in the hope that it will be useful to others.

The discussion starts with Max's story and covers mental health in young men, the impact of a death by suicide and trying to rebuild after such a tragic loss. They also discuss the reasons why the family chose to establish the Mindstep Foundation in Max's memory.
