Charity Single Released in aid of Mindstep
To mark nearly two years since Max’s passing, his good friend and talented singer, Joshua Phillips, recorded and released a beautifully poignant tribute song. “Singing Delilah” has been released via Bandcamp, with all proceeds very kindly being donated to the Mindstep Foundation.
Mindstep Receives Registered Charity Status
The Mindstep Foundation is incredibly proud to announce that we are now an officially registered charity within England and Wales.
Mindstep Burpee Challenge goes Viral
Last month, In aid of Mental Health Awareness Week, more than 160 people completed the Mindstep Burpee Challenge, raising over £1,700. The challenge involved donating £5 for every 9 burpees completed and nominating others to do the same.
Capita Resourcing Complete Over 1,000 Miles for Mindstep
Throughout the month of May, Capita Resourcing’s Consultancy tower took on the challenge of completing a total of 536 miles of exercise across the team. The team walked, ran and cycled to reach their goal quicker than anticipated, choosing to double their target to 1072 miles.

Mindstep funds Suicide Awareness Talk
On the 3rd October Professor Rory O’Connor, from Glasgow University, delivered a fascinating talk to parents and staff about understanding suicide and self-harm in young people.
University of Glasgow Fellowship
The Mindstep Foundation will be funding a 2-year post doctoral fellowship focusing on the prevention of suicide. Of special interest will be the link between factors that may have influenced our Max, and many young men like him.
