Mindstep deliver another successful ASIST course

The Mindstep Foundation are delighted to qualify another excellent group in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

The course two-day course is designed to teach participants how to recognise when someone may have thoughts of suicide and successfully work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.

We were so pleased to receive great feedback from course participants:

“I am inspired way beyond expectations. This training has been highly effective, efficient, supportive, emotive. I feel capable to help a person at risk of suicide."

“Whilst it was emotional, the experience and training were eye opening. I feel prepared.”

“It has been one of the most challenging I have done in my life - but my outlook on life has completely changed”

Congratulations to the new qualifiers and thank you to our brilliant ASIST trainers.
