Mindstep commemorated at University of Glasgow

A couple of weeks ago, the Mindstep team had the pleasure of visiting Professor Rory O'Connor and the research team at the University of Glasgow for an insightful update on their crucial work.

Over the past year, Mindstep has supported nine groundbreaking research projects, exploring suicide risk mechanisms, early life trauma, personality factors, and ambivalence.

Our visit included a tour of the new School of Health & Wellbeing, featuring a plaque commemorating Max and Mindstep's support for suicide prevention research.

Mindstep was also commemorated on the Alma Mater sculpture in the University quad celebrating philanthropy at the University, with the charity name engraved on the plinth.

The day concluded with the World Changing Giving dinner, honouring alumni and donors.

You can find out more about the research we fund here, as well as the Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory at the University of Glasgow here.
